Steubenville!!

Hi Guys!

Oh my goodness!! Can you believe it's almost here??
We are sooo excited to spend 5 days with you guys, watching you all grow closer to God and stronger in your faith!! It's SUCH A BLESSING for us!!

We just wanted to send you all a couple of reminders:

1. We would like to leave as early as we can so we can get there and get rested for our fun day at Silverwood... so, if you can, please try to be up at the church, with a full belly, at 4:45 pm. That way we can try to be out of here before 5:30 pm. Thanks guys!


2. BRING A TOWEL!! I swear, I am NOT obsessing about this! But, DON'T FORGET YOUR TOWEL!! :-)


3. Bring car snacks, if you want, enough to share with 6-8 people. no candy.


4. No cell phones! Leave yours at home, please! We feel that it is really important to not have phones & texting as a distraction while we are experiencing Steubenville. Krisi & I will have our phones at all times, in case of emergencies & they will be alvailable to call mom and dad in the evenings, if you want. IPOD's are allowed, but only at bedtime and MUST remain in the dorms. Trust me, you'll be too busy anyway!


5. And last, but certainly NOT least... We wanted to point out to you all how amazingly blessed you are to be parishioners here at St. John the Apostle. We raised $1100 at the car wash/bake sale!!!!! That put us OVER our goal and made it possible for us to put some $$ aside for scholarships for next years trip to SVNW AND give $500 to our sister parish in San Esteban!!

Guys, this parish LOVES you and wants to support you in your faith journey. Please remember them all and give them thanks for them and their generosity in your prayers!!
